WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES – SOUTH GARDA CIRCUIT
La prima Domenica di Febbraio abbiamo partecipato, sulla pista di Lonato, alla WSK Super Master Series, una delle competizione di kart con il livello più alto in assoluto.
Dopo delle prove libere un pò complicate a causa del freddo, la sessione di qualifica ci ha visti terminare con un buon 20esimo tempo considerando il livello altissimo della competizione.
La prima manche ci vede protagonisti di grandi battaglie a centro gruppo per tutta la lunghezza della gara, terminata nella stessa posizione di partenza con un giro veloce a soli 4 decimi dal più veloce in pista; nella seconda manche purtroppo un problema al motore ci ha fatto ritirare anzitempo.
Arriviamo alla Pre-finale B, dove dopo aver guadagnato più di 8 posizioni rispetto alla partenza, siamo stati purtroppo costretti a chiudere la gara con un ritiro a causa di un infortunio fisico antecedente la gara di Alex che non gli ha permesso di continuare a causa dei dolori.
On the first Sunday of February we took part, on the Lonato track, in the WSK Super Master Series, one of the highest level karting competitions ever.
After some complicated free practice due to the cold, the qualifying session saw us finish with a good 20th time considering the very high level of the competition.
The first heat sees us protagonists of great battles in the middle of the group for the entire length of the race, which ended in the same starting position with a fastest lap just 4 tenths from the fastest on the track; in the second heat, unfortunately, an engine problem forced us to retire prematurely.
We arrive at Pre-final B, where after gaining more than 8 positions compared to the start, we were unfortunately forced to close the race with a withdrawal due to a physical injury prior to the race by Alex which did not allow him to continue due to of pains.
