TROFEO WINTER ROK 2022 – LONATO
Weekend del 26 e del 27 febbraio 2022 a Lonato, debutto stagionale per il ROK Winter Trophy nella categoria Shifter. Durante le prove libere e le qualifiche il miglioramento dei tempi è continuo, grazie alla sempre maggiore sintonia col nuovo kart. A causa di un problema tecnico al termine del giro di ricognizione purtroppo non siamo riusciti a prendere parte alla manche 1; meglio è andata nella manche 2 dove, rimanendo lontani dai guai, siamo riusciti a recuperare dall’ultima posizione al 19esimo posto finale. Nella Pre-finale si evidenzia un nostro problema su cui dovremo fare molta pratica: le partenze con un kart a Marce. Nonostante la brutta partenza riusciamo a recuperare qualche posizione. Nella Finale riusciamo a tenere il passo del gruppone centrale ma a 3/4 di gara la stanchezza si è fatta sentire e a quel punto abbiamo pensato solo a terminare la gara. Finale davvero molto agguerrita con una differenza di soli 0,5 secondi tra il miglior tempo del vincitore ed il miglior tempo del ventesimo.
Weekend of February 26th and 27th 2022 in Lonato, seasonal debut for the ROK Winter Trophy in the Shifter category. During free practice and qualifying times the improvement is continuous, thanks to the ever greater harmony with the new kart. Unfortunately, due to a technical problem at the end of the formation lap, we were unable to take part in manche 1; it went better in manche 2 where, staying out of trouble, we managed to recover from the last position to the 19th place finish. In the Pre-final the highlight was on one of our problems on which we will have to practice a lot: the start with a kart with gears. Despite the bad start we managed to recover some positions. In the Final we managed to keep up with the central group but at 3/4 of the race the fatigue was big and we only thought about finishing the race. Very tough final with a difference of only 0.5 seconds between the winner’s best time and the best time of the twentieth.
