CAMPIONATO ITALIANO ACI KARTING – CASTELLETTO DI BRANDUZZO
Dal 21 al 24 luglio 2022 si è svolto a Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV) il Campionato Italiano Aci Kart. Dopo una qualifica non molto fortunata a causa del traffico, alla partenza della prima manche veniamo subito colpiti e sbattuti fuori pista. Riusciamo comunque a ripartire in ultima posizione ed iniziamo a recuperare terreno sul gruppo; alla fine della gara recuperiamo ben 7 posizioni a suon di sorpassi. Dopo essere scattati dall’11° posto nella seconda manche, purtroppo siamo stati costretti al ritiro per i danni riportati al kart dopo un contatto con un avversario. La gara di ripescaggio parte con i migliori auspici: 6° posto in griglia ed un passo gara che garantirebbe la finale. Purtroppo una partenza poco felice, che ci fa perdere 4 posizioni, ed il tempo perso dietro ad un avversario ci distaccano dal gruppo… ma appena troviamo pista libera iniziamo a recuperare sul gruppone davanti giro dopo giro arrivando a giocarci il passaggio in finale negli ultimi giri… ma il tamponamento ricevuto da un avversario ci costringe nuovamente al ritiro.
The Italian Aci Kart Championship took place in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV) from July 21st to 24th 2022. After a not very lucky qualifying due to traffic, at the start of the first heat we are immediately hit and thrown off the track. However, we manage to restart in last position and begin to recover the group; at the end of the race we recover 7 positions with a bunch of overtakings. After starting from 11th place in the second heat, unfortunately we were forced to retire due to the damage to the kart after a contact with an opponent. The repechage race starts with the best wishes: 6th place on the grid and a race pace that would guarantee the final. Unfortunately an unhappy start, which makes us lose 4 positions, and the time lost behind an opponent detached us from the group … but as soon as we find a clear track we begin to recover on the front group lap after lap, coming to play for the passage in the final in the last laps… but the collision received by an opponent forced us to retire again.
