Il promettente pilota milanese scende in pista nel tradizionale appuntamento di fine anno sul Circuito Internazionale Napoli con l’obiettivo di andare a caccia di un risultato di prestigio
L’appuntamento finale di una lunga ed impegnativa stagione in pista è arrivato per Alex Zucco. Il giovane kartista milanese sarà infatti protagonista nel fine settimana in occasione del prestigioso appuntamento con la 28esima edizione del Trofeo ‘Ayrton Senna’, in programma dall’8 al 10 Dicembre sul Circuito Internazionale Napoli. L’importante manifestazione dedicata all’asso brasiliano, che come ogni anno chiude il calendario agonistico del circuito che sorge alle pendici del Vesuvio, vedrà il portacolori DR Racing Kart pronto a dare battaglia, nell’intento di chiudere nel migliore dei modi un’annata di grande crescita.
Grazie alla dedizione e all’impegno quotidiano portato avanti nel corso dell’anno, il 16enne di Buccinasco è riuscito a più riprese a mettersi in luce durante i numerosi eventi a cui ha partecipato difendendo i colori della scuderia diretta da Danilo Rossi, ben figurando in occasione del suo esordio al FIA Karting World Championship in Germania e chiudendo la stagione con la ciliegina sulla torta del trionfo nella Coppa Italia ACI Karting tra gli Under 18, in occasione della prova disputatasi sul Circuito Valle del Liri di Arce.
Il tradizionale appuntamento dell’Immacolata è in grado di richiamare piloti provenienti da tutto il mondo, grazie alla probante sfida rappresentata dai 1550 metri del tracciato napoletano ed al prestigio conquistato nel corso del tempo da un evento che ha assunto sempre maggiore risonanza a livello internazionale. Anche quest’anno saranno oltre 150 i concorrenti pronti a sfidarsi nelle varie categorie, con 17 piloti ai nastri di partenza della categoria KZ2. Alex Zucco dovrà vedersela con alcuni dei migliori interpreti della specialità già incontrati nell’arco della stagione, ma non mancherà per lui l’opportunità di potersi issare nelle posizioni di vertice della classifica, considerando la notevole mole di esperienza accumulata quest’anno.
Il pilota lombardo si presenta infatti particolarmente carico e determinato al via di questo appuntamento, consapevole di potersi giocare le proprie chance senza eccessive pressioni e con l’unico obiettivo di impreziosire il suo curriculum stagionale. L’occasione di cimentarsi in un Trofeo dedicato al grande campione brasiliano, scomparso a Imola nel 1994, rappresenta infatti una ghiotta opportunità per poterconsolidare la propria fama di giovane promessa del karting e, di conseguenza, per mettersi in luce agli occhi di fans e addetti ai lavori anche in vista della stagione 2024.
Alex Zucco (pilota DR Racing Kart): “Arriviamo a Sarno con l’obiettivo innanzitutto di dimenticare lo sfortunato weekend vissuto a Franciacorta nel WSK, ma anche per cercare di chiudere nel migliore dei modi una stagione molto impegnativa ma nel corso della quale sono cresciuto molto. L’esperienza acquisita quest’anno è stata davvero impagabile e, anche se i risultati non sempre non sono arrivati, mi ha permesso di migliorare come atleta e come persona. Anche con il DR Racing Kart vogliamo chiudere in bellezza questo percorso che durante l’anno ci ha visti lottare sempre in prima fila, nell’intento di cogliere un altro bel risultato dopo la conquista del titolo Under 18 nella Coppa Italia ACI Karting. Dopo la giornata dedicata alle prove libere, il programma ufficiale della manifestazione entrerà nel vivo nella giornata di Venerdì 8 Dicembre, con lo svolgimento nel corso del pomeriggio delle qualificazioni alle ore 16:00. Il tutto in attesa del gran finale di Domenica 10 Dicembre, il cui programma risulta al momento in corso di aggiornamento ma che vedrà la messa in onda di tutte le gare in live streaming sui canali Social e sul sito web del Circuito Internazionale Napoli (www.circuitointernazionalenapoli.com).
LAST CHALLENGE OF THE SEASON FOR ALEX ZUCCO IN THE ‘AYRTON SENNA’ TROPHY IN SARNO
The promising Milanese driver takes to the track in the traditional end-of-year event on the Naples International Circuit with the aim of chasing a prestigious result
The final appointment of a long and demanding season on the track has arrived for Alex Zucco. The young Milanese kart driver will in fact be the protagonist over the weekend on the occasion of the prestigious appointment with the 28th edition of the ‘Ayrton Senna’ Trophy, scheduled from 8 to 10 December on the Naples International Circuit. The important event dedicated to the Brazilian ace, which like every year closes the competitive calendar of the circuit located on the slopes of Vesuvius, will see the DR Racing Kart standard bearer ready to do battle, with the aim of closing a year in the best possible way of great growth.
Thanks to the dedication and daily commitment carried out throughout the year, the 16-year-old from Buccinasco managed to shine on several occasions during the numerous events in which he participated, defending the colors of the team managed by Danilo Rossi, performing well in occasion of his debut at the FIA Karting World Championship in Germany and closing the season with the icing on the cake of the triumph in the ACI Karting Italian Cup among the Under 18s, on the occasion of the test held on the Valle del Liri Circuit in Arce.
The traditional Immaculate Conception event is able to attract pilots from all over the world, thanks to the probative challenge represented by the 1550 meters of the Neapolitan track and the prestige gained over time by an event that has taken on ever greater resonance at an international level. This year too, there will be over 150 competitors ready to compete in the various categories, with 17 drivers at the starting line in the KZ2 category. Alex Zucco will have to contend with some of the best interpreters of the specialty already encountered throughout the season, but there will be no shortage of opportunities for him to be able to climb to the top positions in the rankings, considering the considerable amount of experience accumulated this year.
In fact, the Lombard driver appears particularly energetic and determined at the start of this event, aware that he can play his chances without excessive pressure and with the sole objective of enriching his seasonal CV. The opportunity to compete in a Trophy dedicated to the great Brazilian champion, who passed away in Imola in 1994, represents a wonderful opportunity to consolidate one’s reputation as a promising young karting player and, consequently, to shine in the eyes of fans and insiders also in view of the 2024 season.

After the day dedicated to free practice, the official program of the event will come to life on Friday 8 December, with qualifications taking place during the afternoon at 4pm.
