PRIMA TAPPA CAMPIONATO ITALIANO ACI KARTING 2022
Il weekend del 21-22 Maggio 2022 ci vede partecipare alla prima tappa del Campionato italiano ACI Karting 2022.
Le prove libere vengono utilizzate per rodare il nuovissimo kart con cui affronteremo il weekend, di conseguenza non viene cercata subito la prestazione.
Sessioni di qualifiche molto tirate, con tutti i piloti racchiusi in 4 decimi, ed il nostro Alex si piazza al 30esimo posto.
La prima gara eliminatoria ci vede protagonisti di una bellissima rimonta che porta Alex fino alla 22esima posizione, purtroppo un ritiro nella seconda manches non ci permette di dimostrare tutto il nostro potenziale.
Nella manche di ripescaggio montiamo un set di gomme nuove per massimizzare le prestazioni. Alex si rende nuovamente protagonista di una bella rimonta fino al 13esimo posto, che però non gli permette comunque di entrare nella finale.
Nonostante il mancato ingresso in finale il morale al termine del weekend è alto perché si sono immediatamente visti netti miglioramenti rispetto alle scorse gare.
The weekend of May 21 st – 22nd 2022 sees us participate in the first stage of the Italian ACI Karting 2022 Championship.
Free practice is used to break in the brand new kart with which we will face the weekend, therefore performance is not immediately sought.
Very tight qualifying sessions, with all the riders within 4 tenths, and our Alex is in 30th place.
The first qualifying race sees us protagonists of a beautiful comeback that takes Alex up to the 22nd position, unfortunately a retirement in the second heat does not allow us to demonstrate our full potential.
In the repechage heats we mount a set of new tires to maximize performance. Alex is once again the protagonist of a good comeback up to 13th place, which however does not allow him to enter the final.
Despite the lack of entry into the final, morale at the end of the weekend is high because clear improvements were immediately seen compared to the previous races.
