Il giovane pilota del DR Racing Kart pronto per la sfida sul circuito tedesco in vista dell’appuntamento iridato previsto per il 7-10 Settembre
Nuova sfida dal sapore internazionale alle porte per Alex Zucco. Il veloce kartista milanese, reduce dall’impegnativo confronto nel FIA Karting European Championship svoltosi a Sarno, sarà infatti impegnato nel prossimo week-end sul circuito tedesco di Wackersdorf, situato nel cuore della Baviera. L’occasione sarà ghiotta per poter preparare nel migliore dei modi quello che con ogni probabilità promette di essere l’evento più atteso ed importante della stagione 2023, ovvero il Mondiale della categoria KZ2 che andrà in scena proprio sul medesimo tracciato dal 7 al 10 Settembre.
Il grintoso pilota del DR Racing Kart prenderà quindi parte alla manifestazione ‘Road To Wackersdorf’ insieme a molti altri esponenti di primo piano del kartismo internazionale, con l’obiettivo di prendere le misure ai 1197 metri della pista tedesca. Saranno infatti ben 86 i partecipanti al via nella categoria KZ2, andando a rappresentare il gruppo più numeroso tra i 150 piloti presenti complessivamente all’appuntamento che precede la pausa estiva.
Per Alex Zucco si tratterà di una nuova occasione per accrescere la propria esperienza e soprattutto per prepararsi al meglio in vista della Coppa del Mondo FIA, quando gli occhi del motorsport internazionale saranno puntati proprio sul circuito di Wackersdorf per individuare i futuri campioni dell’automobilismo. Il 16enne di Buccinasco può ritenersi soddisfatto del percorso di crescita fin qui portato avanti, reso possibile dalla grande abnegazione del pilota ma anche dal prezioso supporto da parte del team diretto da Danilo Rossi.
Nonostante la limitata esperienza e qualche episodio poco favorevole, Zucco ha sempre lottato con grande ardore nelle competizioni che lo hanno visto sin qui protagonista, misurandosi ad armi pari con i principali interpreti della categoria a livello mondiale e riducendo costantemente il gap rispetto ai migliori del gruppo. Il round di Wackersdorf costituirà un’altra preziosa occasione per confermare questo trend positivo, consentendogli di consolidare la propria posizione ai vertici della categoria in vista del round iridato.
Alex Zucco (pilota DR Racing Kart): “Sarà molto importante cercare di sfruttare al massimo questo fine settimana in Germania per potermi preparare al meglio in vista della Coppa del Mondo in programma aSettembre. Personalmente non conosco la pista, ma grazie all’aiuto del team cercherò di interpretarla nel migliore dei modi e di crescere progressivamente di sessione in sessione. Si tratterà di una sorta di anteprima del Mondiale, per cui tutti i migliori della categoria KZ2 saranno presenti al via: dopo quanto messo in mostra a Sarno e sugli altri circuiti, mi sento assolutamente carico e motivato per cogliere un bel risultato! Come sempre potrò fare affidamento sul mio team DR Racing Kart e sul supporto della mia famiglia, costantemente al mio fianco per inseguire gli obiettivi che ci siamo posti. Speriamo di poterci divertire e che possa essere un week-end fruttuoso e ricco di soddisfazioni!”
Le attività in pista sul Pro Kart Raceland di Wackersdorf, dopo la giornata dedicata ai test, inizieranno ufficialmente Venerdì 21 Luglio con le varie sessioni di prove libere durante la mattinata, le quali precederanno il turno di qualifica (alle ore 14:50) e lo start delle manche di qualificazione, le quali scatteranno a partire dalle ore 17:00. Il giorno successivo sarà interamente dedicato alle varie batterie, volte a determinare i nomi di coloro che avranno accesso alla fase finale: la Super Heat si svolgerà Domenica 23 Luglio alle 10:45, mentre la Finale andrà in scena alle ore 14:20. ALEX ZUCCO FLIES TO GERMANY FOR THE ROAD TO WACKERSDORF
The young DR Racing Kart driver ready for the challenge on the German circuit in view of the world championship appointment scheduled for 7-10 September
A new challenge with an international flavor is coming for Alex Zucco. The fast Milanese kart driver, back from the demanding weekend in the FIA Karting European Championship held in Sarno, will in fact be busy next weekend on the German circuit of Wackersdorf, located in the heart of Bavaria. The occasion will be good to prepare in the best possible way what in all likelihood promises to be the most awaited and important event of the 2023 season, the World Championship of the KZ2 category which will be staged right on the same track from 7 to 10 September.
The gritty DR Racing Kart driver will therefore take part in the ‘Road To Wackersdorf’ event together with many other leading exponents of international karting, with the aim of taking measures at the 1197 meters of the German track. In fact, there will be 86 participants at the start in the KZ2 category, going to represent the largest group among the 150 drivers present overall at the appointment that precedes the summer break.
For Alex Zucco it will be a new opportunity to increase his experience and above all to prepare in the best possible way in view of the FIA World Cup, when the eyes of international motorsport will be focused precisely on the Wackersdorf circuit to identify future motoring champions. The 16-year-old from Buccinasco can be satisfied with the growth path he has pursued so far, made possible by the great dedication of the driver but also by the precious support from the team directed by Danilo Rossi.
Despite the limited experience and some unfavorable episodes, Zucco has always fought with great ardor in the competitions that have seen him protagonist up to now, competing on equal terms with the main interpreters of the category worldwide and constantly reducing the gap compared to the best of the group. The Wackersdorf round will be another precious opportunity to confirm this positive trend, allowing him to consolidate his position at the top of the category in view of the world championship round.
Alex Zucco (DR Racing Kart driver): “It will be very important to do my best in this weekend in Germany to be able to prepare myself in the best possible way in view of the World Cup scheduled in September. I personally don’t know the track, but thanks to the help of the team I will try to interpret it in the best way and to grow progressively from session to session. It will be a sort of preview of the World Championship, so all the best drivers in the KZ2 category will be present at the start: after what was shown in Sarno and on the other circuits, I feel absolutely energized and motivated to get a good result! As always, I will be able to rely on my DR Racing Kart team and the support of my family, constantly by my side to pursue the goals we have set ourselves. We hope we can have fun and that it can be a fruitful weekend full of satisfactions!”
After the day dedicated to testing, the activities on track at the Wackersdorf Pro Kart Raceland will officially begin on Friday 21 July with the various free practice sessions in the morning, which will precede the qualifying session (at 2.50 pm) and the start of the qualifying heats, which will start at 5.00 pm. The following day will be entirely dedicated to the various heats, aimed at determining the names of those who will have access to the final phase: the Super Heat will take place on Sunday 23 July at 10:45, while the Final will be staged at 14:20.
