Dopo la positiva esperienza nel Mondiale FIA di Wackersdorf, il giovane pilota lombardo torna in azione nel confronto che assegna il titolo tricolore KZ2 con il DR Racing Kart
A meno di due settimane di distanza dalla prestigiosa sfida iridata andata in scena a Wackersdorf, per Alex Zucco tornano ad aprirsi le porte del panorama tricolore. Il giovane pilota del DR Racing Kart sarà infatti protagonista sul Franciacorta Karting Track per la quinta e ultima tappa stagionale del Campionato Italiano ACI Karting, che vedrà al via un totale di ben 275 concorrenti. Dopo l’apparizione nell’evento di apertura del campionato, svoltosi nel mese di Maggio sul tracciato di Cremona, il driver di Buccinasco tornerà dunque a cimentarsi in una sfida a pochi chilometri da casa, con l’obiettivo di continuare il proprio percorso di crescita in un contesto altamente competitivo.
L’appuntamento di Franciacorta promette di rivelarsi particolarmente incerto ed equilibrato, visto l’elevato numero di partecipanti al via e l’assegnazione del titolo 2023 ancora in palio, grazie anche al regolamento che per la gara bresciana prevede un punteggio incrementato rispetto alle prove precedenti. Per Zucco in ogni caso non vi saranno velleità di classifica da questo punto di vista, avendo scelto di focalizzare la propria attenzione nel corso dell’anno sugli eventi internazionali, ma in ogni caso si tratterà di un’ottima occasione per confermare gli evidenti progressi messi in mostra durante l’annata vissuta tra le fila del team diretto da Danilo Rossi.
Di recente realizzazione, il circuito di Franciacorta presenta una lunghezza di 1300 metri complessivi, venendo caratterizzato dalla presenza di tratti veloci alternati a punti tecnici, ma soprattutto da una serie di variazioni altimetriche della pista, che lo distinguono dagli altri impianti rendendolo un banco di prova impegnativo per tutti i piloti. Come di consueto, l’evento godrà di un’ampia copertura mediatica sui canali ACI Sport, grazie alla diretta televisiva sul canale 228 Sky e al live streaming sui canali Social.
Alex Zucco (pilota DR Racing Kart): “Sono contento di poter tornare a correre in una prova del Campionato Italiano e sono curioso di poter tornare a confrontarmi a distanza di alcuni mesi con gli avversari di questo contesto, anche per avere un riscontro sui miei progressi effettuati finora. Sarà un’occasione importante per dare la caccia ad un risultato di prestigio su un circuito che mi piace molto: l’obiettivo è quello di dare come sempre il 110% e crescere progressivamente nel corso del fine settimana. Un ringraziamento come sempreva al mio team per il prezioso supporto, così come ai miei sponsor e alla mia famiglia, pronta a sostenermi in ogni circostanza e di fondamentale importanza nel mio percorso. Il programma del week-end di Franciacorta, dopo lo svolgimento delle sessioni di prove libere, entrerà nel vivo nel pomeriggio di Venerdì 22 Settembre, con le qualifiche che scatteranno alle ore 18:20. L’indomani avranno luogo le due manche di gara alle 10:55 e alle 15:40 sulla distanza di 12 tornate, mentre Domenica 24 la Finale scatterà alle ore 11:35 con i piloti che dovranno percorrere un totale di 18 giri.

Less than two weeks after the prestigious world championship challenge staged in Wackersdorf, the doors of the Italian panorama are opening again for Alex Zucco. The young driver of DR Racing Kart will in fact be the protagonist on the Franciacorta Karting Track for the fifth and final stage of the season of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, which will see a total of 275 competitors at the start. After his appearance in the opening event of the championship, which took place in May on the Cremona track, the driver from Buccinasco will therefore return to try his hand at a challenge a few kilometers from home, with the aim of continuing his growth path in a highly competitive context.
The Franciacorta event promises to prove particularly uncertain and balanced, given the high number of participants at the start and the assignment of the 2023 title still up for grabs, thanks also to the regulation which provides for an increased score for the Brescia race compared to the previous tests . In any case, for Zucco there will be no ranking ambitions from this point of view, having chosen to focus his attention during the year on international events, but in any case it will be an excellent opportunity to confirm the evident progress made on display during the year spent among the ranks of the team directed by Danilo Rossi.
Recently built, the Franciacorta circuit has a total length of 1300 metres, being characterized by the presence of fast sections alternating with technical points, but above all by a series of altimetric variations of the track, which distinguish it from other facilities, making it a test bed challenging for all riders. As usual, the event will enjoy extensive media coverage on the ACI Sport channels, thanks to live television on Sky channel 228 and live streaming on social channels.

The Franciacorta weekend programme, after the free practice sessions, will come to life on the afternoon of Friday 22 September, with qualifying starting at 6.20pm. The following day the two heats of the race will take place at 10.55am and 3.40pm over a distance of 12 laps, while on Sunday 24th the Final will start at 11.35am with the drivers having to complete a total of 18 laps.
